Villa Le Rose, an aristocratic abode in Florence

In 1487, Niccolò Antinori bought the villa belonging to an estate in Tavernuzze, near Florence, immersed in the beautiful hills of Chianti. It was the “gentleman’s house” that is known today as Villa Le Rose.

Niccolò belonged to an aristocratic family from Florence, who had a key role in the city’s political life and counted – and still counts – many successful entrepreneurs among its members.

Located on a hill surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, Villa Le Rose is still a magnificent aristocratic abode – a luxury country house where anyone today can enjoy this wonderful corner of Tuscany, at any time of the year.
