Giovanni Auricchio is a landscape photographer from Castiglione del Lago, Umbria.
He was selected among twenty Italian talents to represent the country in the world through the “Discover The Other Italy” project, sponsored by Expo 2015, ENIT (Agenzia del Turismo Italiano), and Fai (Fondo Ambiente Italiano).
We are happy to publish here a selection from his striking series dedicated to Lake Trasimeno, which he describes as “an oil painting at every moment”.
