The streets of Salerno light up with Artists’ Lights

The twelfth edition of “Luci d’Artista” (“Artists’ Lights”) was inaugurated last November in Salerno; until next January 21st, 2018 the winter evenings and nights of Campania’s wonderful “medieval gem” (as local poet Alfonso Gatto liked to define Salerno) will sparkle thanks to the installations of the open-air light art festival.

This year, the installations set up in the streets and squares of Salerno’s historical center are inspired by four main themes – “Myth”, “Dream”, “Time”, and “Christmas” – creating a bright itinerary that everyone can follow from their smartphone.

The comune’s Villa also takes part in the event, hosting an exhibit titled “The Zoo I Wish for” – a blazing forest inhabited by deer, bison, lions, kangaroos, elk, reindeer and many other amazing, sparkling animals.

Our gallery celebrates the poetic and joyful lights of the festive initiative.
