The Art Park set up in Michele Chiarlo’s “Orme su La Court” vineyard, in Castelnuovo Calcea (Asti, Piedmont), is an incredible place where human creativity and nature come together.
The itinerary in the Aluffi estate is over one kilometer long, and rolls out between cypress trees and houses, moments for thought and tastings, “pole-marking heads” and the sculptures created by seven contemporary artists.
Throughout the journey, the visionary presence of fantastic machines built by brilliant set designer Emanuele Luzzati (1921-2007) provides an additional layer of wonder. Luzzati was the mind behind the entire itinerary, based on the four elements of earth, fire, wind and air, representing the main lines along which man’s and nature’s work intertwine.
The Park is managed by the cultural association Orme, which organizes visits and events.
