The Ferrari 275 GTC, queen of competitions

The Ferrari 275 GTC (or GTB/C, the “B” standing for “Berlinetta” and the “C” for “Competizione”) is one of the three models the Maranello carmaker designed in 1966 to replace the 250 GTO in Gran Touring races.

Just out of Carrozzeria Scaglietti, this 275 GTC won the 1966 Adac Nürburgring 1000 km – an endurance race that has been held since 1953 on a circuit that snakes around the Nürburg Castle in Germany – in the “Prototype” category.
