The Alfa Romeo Cuneo 33 and the angle on the 1970s

With its taut lines and sharp corners, the Alfa Romeo Cuneo 33 was a thunderous innovation for eyes used to the sinuous profiles of 1960s’ design.

The single model of this outstanding concept car made by Pininfarina marked the beginning of 1970s’ car design.

Presented at the 1971 Brussels Car Show, it is currently on display in the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese.
