The Abarth 2000 Sport 014 “Targa Florio”

Here is an Abarth 2000 Sport 014 “Targa Florio”, created for Fiat by Carlo Abarth’s car maker in Bologna.

The prototype was designed around 1966 by Carlo Colucci. A fan of central engines located in front of the rear axle, Colucci made an exception for this model and complied with Abarth’s general philosophy with an overhung outboard engine.

Thus, once again, a magnificent idea was born out of contrasts and constraints.
