Scattered inside the centuries-old walls of Residenza d’Arte, in Torrita di Siena, you’ll find sofas, chairs and tables in shiny resin or brushed steel – objects conceived by the skillful Anna Izzo.

Sculptress, painter and interior designer, Anna Izzo invented and created a “boutique relais”, within the finely renovated structure of this 14th-century historical home between Val di Chiana and Val d’Orcia, near the wonderful cities of Siena, Pienza, Montepulciano, Cortona and Montalcino.

The history of Torrita di Siena, especially since the beginning of the 1900s, is tied to the strong development of local craftsmanship, woodwork in particular. An ideal setting to breathe life into a project like Residenza d’Arte, where any need for both rest and aesthetic pleasure is met.

And all around, the wonderful Siena countryside.
