Parilla Slughi 99, slender and strong

Parilla, a motorcycle company based in Milan between 1946 and 1967, manufactured the Slughi 99 from 1957 to 1964.

Presented at Milan’s Motor Show in 1957, the model was designed to merge features from scooters and from traditional motorbikes in perfect harmony. It was named after a slender and strong dog breed known as sloughi, originally from North Africa, but went under the name “Ramjet” in the American market.
