Motom 48, straight from the 1950s

Here is a Motom 48 from the second half of the 1950s, one of the models made by the Milanese factory of the same name, founded in 1947 by the De Angeli-Frua family, who owned an important textile company in Italy at the time.

Before the manufacturing company closed in 1970s, the Motom 48 was one of the most successful models of the post-war period, when the need for mobility had to come to terms with people’s limited finances.
