Memories of the Po Valley

Photographer Paola De Pietri, born in Emilia, has known the landscape of the Po Valley since her childhood, learning to recognize the isolated trees and abandoned farmhouses that provide the only clues to a past that now seems hard to even remember.
Her “Questa pianura” (“This Plain”) project is part of the “Dalla via Emilia al mondo” (“From Via Emilia to the World”) group exhibition curated by Diane Dufour, Elio Grazioli and Walter Guadagnini, currently at the 11th edition of Fotografia Europea.
