Until June 1, 2014, the Napoleonic Wing of Palazzo Te, Mantua, will showcase eight photographs by Candida Höfer. The German artist took them between 2010 and 2011, in some of the city’s most important monumental palaces: the Bibiena Theater, the Palazzo Te Civic Museum, the Teresian Library, Palazzo Ducale, the Basilica of Saint Barbara, Palazzo Canossa, and the Museum of Palazzo d’Arco.

They are eight visions of well-balanced perfection – absolutely worth a special trip to this beautiful city.

From March 15 until June 1, 2014
