Jewelry by Giò Pomodoro, beauty to quell pain

The famous goldsmith, engraver, sculptor, and set designer from Marche, Giò Pomodoro (1930-2002) once said, “Beauty causes pain when it is taken away from us”.

Pomodoro spent his entire life in search of beauty. He designed jewelry – as well as monumental works – throughout his career, to bring back that lost beauty into his world, to quell every pain.
