Giardino dei Lauri, growing art

Since 1990, Angela and Massimo Lauro have been cultivating their passions – curating a contemporary art garden on the border between Umbria and Tuscany. They have collected works by some of the most important artists on the Italian and international scenes, ranging from the Post Human group to the Neo-Geo movement, and including the best American photographers. Now they have decided to corral their most recent acquisitions – approximately seventy works – in a 650-square-meter old renovated industrial building and its surrounding park.

Giardino dei Lauri is a garden abloom with works by now-established authors from around the world: Takashi Murakami, Ugo Rondinone, Roxy Paine, Mariko Mori, Tim Noble & Sue Webster, Maurizio Cattelan, and many more. It also includes a selection of artists who have made a name for themselves in more recent times, such as Urs Fischer, Aaron Young, Piero Golia, and Aaron Young.

A place for art to grow.
