Genoa, your colors

In his series “Genoa, your colors”, German photographer Niels Schubert shows how public spaces are converted and used along the beaches of the Liguria capital.
The project began in 2014 when the artist stopped in Genoa on a trip across Italy: charmed by the local beaches – or better, its poured concrete pads, breakwaters and small patches of gravel – he began collection memories of the city’s colors.
