Five homes for five great Italian authors

Here is a selection of images from the homes of five of the most important Italian authors of all timeDante Alighieri (Florence, between 21 May and 21 June 1265 – Ravenna, the night between 13 and 14 September 1321), Francesco Petrarca (Arezzo, 20 July 1304 – Arquà Petrarca, 19 July 1374), Giacomo Leopardi (Recanati, 29 June 1798 – Naples, 14 June 1837), Alessandro Manzoni (Milan, 7 March 1785 – Milan, 22 May 1873); Giosuè Carducci (Valdicastello di Pietrasanta, 27 July 1835 – Bologna, 16 February 1907) and Gabriele D’Annunzio (Pescara, 12 March 1863 – Gardone Riviera, 1 March 1938).
