Farmacia Del Cambio, take away with flair

Farmacia del Cambio, Torino, Piazza Carignano

What opened as a pharmacy in the first half of the 1800s is now a wonderful venue, and offers a refined gastronomic takeaway service: Farmacia del Cambio is located next to the famous and exclusive restaurant of the same name, in Piazza Carignano – where Camillo Benso of Cavour often dined (legend has it he ate here in 1859, after taking a crucial decision for the future of Italy, claiming, “We’ve made history, now let’s have lunch”).

Farmacia Del Cambio opened in 2015, with modern furniture that perfectly balances pieces from the 19th century, creating harmony between contemporary shapes and vintage flavor – especially with French Empire and Charles X style furniture.

This elegant laboratory of taste will entice you with fine pastries by chef Fabrizio Galla and exclusive recipes by chef Matteo Baronetto, for quick lunches – eating in or taking away – always with flair.
