Enoteca dai Tosi, another beautiful adventure in the Sassi

Enoteca dai Tosi is a new beautiful adventure with a more-than-happy ending in Matera.

It all started in September 2016, when Belgian architects Jan De Vylder, Inge Vinck and Jo Taillieu won a tender held by Veneto entrepreneur Gian Paolo Buziol. Their firm created a new, three-level space inside a historical “sasso” – one of the ancient caves Matera is known around the world for – maintaining perfect harmony with the history and context of this incredible town.

It is an aesthetic adventure that engages all the senses – taste included, of course, thanks to the excellent food and wine: the latter sourced from Italy and Veneto in particular, the former inspired by Basilicata’s traditional cuisine.
