Cinelli SC Leggerissimo, the Rolls-Royce of two-wheelers

The SC Leggerissimo was manufactured in 1974 by Cinelli; the “SC” in its name stands for “Speciale Corsa” (and not “Super Corsa”, as many mistakenly believe).

Cinelli was founded in Milan in 1948 by Cino Cinelli (1906-2001), who had been a professional cyclist from 1937 to 1944. Once he quit, he decided to focus on making road bikes.

The Cinelli brand was always praised for the high quality of its splendid models: they were nicknamed the “Rolls-Royce of bicycles”, in recognition of both their beauty and the technical innovations they pioneered – some of which would later become widespread in the market: quick-release clipless pedals, plastic seats, aluminum handlebars.

Feast your eyes on this two-wheel Rolls-Royce: roaring with style.
