After a long worldwide tour, in April 2014 Fabbrica Italiana Velocipedi Bianchi finally crossed a special finish line in its hometown Milan by opening the Bianchi Café & Cycles in Via Cavallotti, a stone’s throw from the Duomo.
The shop displays a range of memorabilia from the history of the company founded by Edoardo Bianchi in 1885 (part of the Swedish Cycleurope A.B. since 1997): an equally arduous and glorious past, with unforgettable protagonists like Girardengo, Gimondi, Coppi, and Pantani.
With 600 square feet of floor space, there is plenty of room for the present as well: all the latest models made by the bicycle manufacturer are showcased. The venue also offers an extensive wine list, enticing restaurant menu, and a store with the best of Italian gourmet food, and can be reserved for events, meetings, and press conferences.
After Japan, Sweden, and Milan, the franchise plans to open in Rome, New York and London – continuing its successful tour, one stage after the other.
