Lights and shadows, multi-faceted and meandering spaces, a wealth of stimuli but also comfortable breaks, sitting at bar tables: porticoes are a fascinating aspect of urban and human reality. Photographer Francesco Melchionda, born in Padua, is very familiar with the small universe of life that flows every day under the porticoes, and was able to portray their contrasting and always striking atmospheres in this beautiful series.
