Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 Super Sport, high-performance elegance

The Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 Super Sport was first manufactured in 1929. It was part of Alfa Romeo’s 6C series, a family of six-cylinder cars (hence the “6C” name) that evolved from 1927 to 1950, after taking its initial spark from the brilliant mind of Piedmontese designer Vittorio Jano, who designed the engine.

The prestigious coachbuilder Zagato was entrusted with manufacturing 52 models of the 6C 1750 Super Sport; the last one was made in 1930, and some of them featured a special engine, modified to reach 95 HP.

It was a car for outstanding performances, in terms of both power and elegance.
