LOOX is an après-ski hotspot, at the station at the foot of the Obereggen Latemar ski and trekking area in the Dolomites.
It enjoys a unique location at the heart of the mountains, at the meeting point between valleys and peaks, and offers amazing views of the sunset from an ultramodern, glammed-up mountain hut. It’s also a great place to stay up late and indulge in the fun of nightlife after a day on the fresh snow – as the slopes here stay open and lit up until 10pm for diehard skiers every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
The external structure was created by Geisler&Trimmel and Unisono Architekten. Inside, antique wood and glass are paired with natural hues and a palette of grays, dominated by charcoal. The space is divided into different areas: the bar, the restaurant serving up Tyrolean specialties and a mix of Alpine and Mediterranean cuisine, a clubbing zone and a charming lounge area on the terrace, where guests can relax and take in the magical mountain views.
LOOX’s fulcrum is its central counter, surrounded by elevated niches resembling theater loges. These are actually used for the many scheduled events, such as DJ sets by international artists that attract nightlife lovers to Obereggen.
