A princely stay at Saint Mark’s Castle

Saint Mark’s Castle in Calatabiano, a town in the province of Catania that looks out to the Ionian Sea, is a wonderful aristocratic residence, built between the 17th and 18th century by Ignazio Sebastiano Gravina Cruyllas, prince of Palagonia, heir of a noble family close to the King of Spain.

This incredibly beautiful baroque structure – heart of the “Contrada dell’Acquicella” neighborhood where the prince wanted to establish his home – is now an outstanding hotel, offering a view of Mount Etna from a place where nature is still luscious.

A place where anyone may feel like a prince.
