A multimedia discovery of Giotto

To celebrate the 750th anniversary of the birth of Giotto (1267-1337) in an absolutely original way, go to the Scuola Grande della Misericordia (Old School of Mercy) in Venice and follow directions to the “Magister Giotto” exhibition.

The great multimedia exhibition will be open until November 5th, 2017 with a sensorial itinerary of words, images and music that present the great Tuscan artist and the masterpieces he is know for in Florence, Assisi, Padua and the surrounding territory.

The beautiful, immersive exhibition allows visitors to experience the master’s works in a truly new way. Behind the scenes, an extraordinary team of professionals: director Luca Mazzieri, actor Luca Zingaretti (who lent his voice to the narration) and musician and composer Paolo Fresu collaborated with artists, university professors, art historians, philologists and architects from Italy and abroad, creating an event that amazes for its perfect balance of entertainment and cultural depth.
