The Quellenhof Luxury Resort Passeier

The Quellenhof Luxury Resort Passeier is located right outside Merano between fields and woods, surrounded by the wonderful Alpine nature of South Tyrol. With no less than 10,000 square meters dedicated to wellness – and 100 mountain bikes, 22 saunas, 20 trained horses, 11 swimming pools, 7 tennis courts, 2 fitness centers, and 1 18-hole golf course – it certainly leaves nothing to be desired in terms of variety of services provided for guests’ health, sports activities and leisure.

The Quellenhof opened in 1923 as a small, mountainside tavern. Soon, however, the current owner’s grandparents and the second generation of the Dorfer family transformed it into a place where guests from near and far could meet and enjoy excellent food.

The real turning point was in the 1970s, when the Forellenhof was built – with some of the first tennis courts in the region – and the “Kennenhof” estate was acquired, later allowing to expand the resort. The hotel is now managed by the Dorfer family’s third generation, and in particular by Heinrich Dorfer, who in the 1990s turned the Quellenhof into a Sports & Wellness Resort thanks to a number of renovation and extensions, including the private golf course added in 1992 – a cornerstone of the sports activities offered today.

The structure has now reached the highest quality standards by building the Hotel Park and opening the wellness department at the Hotel Vital and the Quellenhof Medical Center.

Welcome to the Passeyer Valley.
