The Fiat Abarth 2000 Scorpio Concept

Pininfarina Fiat Abarth 2000 Scorpio Concept, 1969

The Fiat Abarth 2000 Scorpio Concept was designed in 1969 by Pininfarina according to a project by Filippo Sapino.

Its name is not an obvious reference to the famous Turin-based car maker’s logo; it comes from the fact that the car actually has the profile of a scorpion, perhaps because of how the outer exhaust pipe resembles the venomous tail the species is known for.

But don’t worry: there is only one of these dangerously beautiful specimens in the world.
