The Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Shooting Brake
The Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Shooting Brake in these photographs is a unique, priceless car.
Part of the Ferrari 365 Daytona family produced by the Maranello carmaker between 1968 and 1974, it has a very special history.
In the early 1970s, an American property developer asked Luigi “Coco” Chinetti jr – son of the famous Luigi Chinetti, official Ferrari importer for North America – for a unique and original Ferrari: he wanted a car that would stand out and be different from all the others.
Wanting to please him, Chinetti jr sent a standard Daytona Berlinetta to Panther Westwinds, a British luxury car manufacturer, along with his designs for its transformation.
In 1975, the result was this splendid “shooting brake” model, merging the profile of a sports car and the features of a station wagon.
